Childproof and senior-friendly

A joint project of the two sister companies KOCH and Uhlmann Pac-Systeme. Packaging tablets with different dosages in three blister sizes – in such a way that the packaging is child-resistant and at the same time senior-friendly.

As a world-leading system provider for packaging pharmaceuticals in blisters, bottles, and cartons, Uhlmann Pac-Systeme GmbH & Co. KG offers flexible complete solutions for international pharmaceutical companies, generic drug manufacturers, and contract packers.

The close collaboration between KOCH and Uhlmann under the shared umbrella of the Uhlmann Group ensures not only perfectly coordinated system components and processes, but also highly efficient project work.

The SimTap feeder of the B 200 blister machine reliably places tablets in up to three different dosages per blister into the correct aluminum pockets.

The wallet machine KS-PL from KOCH seals the blisters with front and back cards to create child-resistant, senior-friendly wallets.

A completely newly developed folding system enables many axis movements and can accommodate the enormous variety of blister formats.

The wallets are transferred to the Uhlmann C 200 cartoner in stacks of seven.
