Since its founding in 1969 by Dieter Koch, we have been developing technologies and solutions that have a lasting impact on the market. What began as a family business in Pfalzgrafenweiler has become an internationally recognized partner for flexible turnkey solutions – from development and assembly to filling and future-oriented packaging concepts.

Dieter Koch founds Koch Maschinenbau GmbH.

1973

Development of the first forming, filling and sealing machine.

1988

Introduction of the sustainable packaging concept "Nurpak®"

1996

Founding of KOCH USA

2006

KOCH becomes a member of the Uhlmann Group and is renamed KOCH Pac-Systeme GmbH.

2009

Relocation to the new company building in the Schornzhardt industrial park in Pfalzgrafenweiler.

2011

Strengthening KOCH line competencies through the introduction of the KOCH packagingLine brand

Expansion of the assembly hall in Pfalzgrafenweiler (construction phase 2) by 1,800 sqm

2013

Start sales and service activities in China.

2015

Start of construction for an extension building for new assembly, office, social, and technical rooms (construction phase 3 with around 3,500 sqm of space).

Development of the next generation of highly flexible high-speedsystems for contact lens packaging.
